Running for a seat in WUSA Senate, as a representative of the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo.

My name is Jonathan Man, and I am in my 1A term of Honours Science and Aviation.

I am dedicated to serving on behalf of the Faculty of Science in the undergraduate senate. As your representative, I will work to pursue enhanced learning opportunities for the entire faculty, working with you to address your needs and desires.

I have had numerous experiences in advocating to get other people's needs brought forward, from working and volunteering in community organizations and unionized workplaces. I know what it is like to have your voice silenced or ignored, and I will commit to welcoming your feedback.

Your feedback and input is important to me. I will either directly act upon them myself, or forward your input to the relevant persons who would be better suited to act upon such. As part of my commitment to ensuring your feedback is addressed, I will follow up on any and every single issue that anyone in this faculty raises, particularly when it needs to be forwarded to someone else, who may not otherwise consider your concerns as of much importance than I personally do.

I would be honoured to represent the Faculty of Science, and I assure you that I will pursue an agenda that benefits the entire faculty and will avoid making commitments that are not followed up by action. (Or what some may refer to as "no action, just empty promises")
